This painting depicts a branch of the trumpet vine (Campsis radicans) at the beginning of its blooming. The first buds, just starting to open, symbolize anticipation and hope that come with the start of a new stage. I encountered this branch during a run and captured the moment when beauty begins to emerge — fragile yet full of life.
